"La fête des Crus"

The idea was born in 1980 in Chiroubles, organizing in April, on the one hand the day
on Saturday a "Victor Pulliat" competition, with tasting and reward for wines of the
vintage vintages which "ont fait leurs Pâques", a meeting In a "professional" interior,
and other-share on Sunday, in the village a "general public" day, each vintage having
invested, which an old cellar, which the court of a house, bourgeois or not, became
for a weekend ambassadors for one of the ten vintages.
The producer winegrowers, well present behind their counter, highlighted an avalanche
of pierced bottles, vintage to taste. And the public to wander in the alleys of the
village, a glass in hand, tasting with a vintage or another.
Volunteers could intersect
the playing course, to learn about the cooperage by assembling the staves of a
Beaujolais barrel (215 liters) (Burgundy 228 l).
Over the editions, each year was a new theme, around dance or circus arts for example.
Hurrah ! for all these winegrowers, winegrowers and villagers who have managed to organize over the years these days which gathered each time between 20,000 and 40,000 visitors!
A success that made the organization of this adventure - a popular festival is always an adventure - increasingly perilous from year to year.
The organizers therefore chose new formulas after "Juliénas 2017".
